Zalman VF2000-LED Hybrid CPU or VGA Cooler
The VF2000 - a hybrid cooler that not only cools a CPU but can also be used to cool a graphics card!
Introducing something a little bit different from Zalman, a hybrid cooler that not only cools a CPU but can also be used to cool a graphics card! This is made possible by some very clever engineering on Zalman’s part. As well as a specially designed base the cooler is supplied with different bracket types, two for CPU cooling and another for VGA cooling, making it probably the most versatile cooler on the planet!

Considering the size of the cooler you would think it would not be able to cool high end LGA775 CPUs, in fact the VF2000 performs very similar to the Intel’s reference design cooler. But that’s not all! It’s also far, far quieter and smaller in size. The VF2000 can achieve excellent cooling due to the fact it includes four copper heatpipes and features Variable Fin Profile (VFP) and an embedded 92mm fan.

Motherboard and CPU Compatibility
The VF2000 is only compatible with Intel LGA775 and AMD AM2/AM2+ motherboards. Zalman have provide a list of compatible and incompatible motherboard. Please use the following links to help determine compatibility of your motherboard.
It is not recommended to use the VF2000 on the following CPUs - Intel Prescott above 540 and Cedar Mill above 650; AMD Phenom X4 above 9850 and Athlon 64 FX above 53.

The Zalman VF2000-LED is an extremely well-designed cooler, delivering cooling performance superior to that of much larger CPU coolers and offering a very attractive third-party GPU cooling solution.

We must say we were surprised to find that the Zalman VF-2000 was the standout performer in our testing, especially as we’d mostly written it off after seeing the “hybrid CPU-VGA,” written on the side of the box.
Happily though, it’s proven resoundingly that you can make a cooler that’s not only significantly smaller than Intel’s reference design, but that can match it for cooling performance whilst being completely silent. We’re not exaggerating that the VF-2000’s 92mm fan is inaudible at its lowest fan speed.
