Grow Up Japan SmartPAD-ML Polyester Sound Absorbing Pad

Grow Up Japan are best known in the UK for their high-performance HDD silencer, the Smart Drive. Now they have worked in conjunction with Bridgestone Japan to produce this premium polyester sound absorbing pad, designed as a simple way of reducing the overall noise produced through the sides of your PC case. Capitalising on the extensive research and development in the field of automotive acoustics, the SmartPAD significantly improves working conditions for any PC user who wishes to cut down the noise of their machine. Being made from 100% polyester, it is extremely eco-friendly. Polyester is fully recyclable and where recycle facilities do not exist, disposal by incineration produces less toxic gas than is detectable by current emissions control equipment. Polyester does not deteriorate with time and does not produce dust like some other acoustic materials. It is very inert and is a non-irritant.

The acoustic performance of the SmartPAD is excellent. As you can see from the graph below, it cuts noise above 2 kHz in half, with an even greater noise reduction on frequencies above that. It is relatively lightweight and so is extremely easy to install. The pad can easily be cut to fit using scissors if required. It comes with adhesive pre-applied so all you need to do to install it is to peel off the brown paper backing and stick the pad inside your PC case.
