Front Mesh Design for Effective Air Circulation
The front of the case is designed with mesh for effective air circulation throughout the system. There are also dust filters are placed inside the mesh to prevent dust entering the chassis.
Maximum Cooling Performance by Large 200mm Blue LED Fans
Large 200mm LED fans expel hot air quickly from the case, maintaining a cool and calm operating system. There are two 200mm fans, one at the top of the case and one at the side as shown.
Dedicated HDD Cooling with 92mm Blue LED Fans
The dedicated 92mm HDD LED fans at the front of the case blow cool air over the hard disk helping to keep the HDDs temperature to a minimum and reducing high temperature related errors for a stable operating system.
USB 3.0 Ready for Rapid Data Transfer
A USB 3.0 port allows a rapid data transfer rate up to 5 Gbps Max. There are also 3 USB 2.0 ports, eSATA, mic and headphone ports all easily accessible at the top of the case.
Docking Station
The docking station at the top of the case allows for hard drives to be connected to the system quickly and conveniently. A HDD and scratch-resistant pad is also supplied to prevent any damage to the HDD and/or the case.
Spacious 350mm Interior for Convenient System Installation
The interior has been designed to be spacious for easy installation and maintenance of various components, especially for large high performance graphics cards.
Rear Motherboard Mounting Cut-out
A rear motherboard mounting cut-out is provided for convenient CPU cooler installation without having to remove motherboard from case.

PROS
- Looks great.
- Almost everything within the case is easily reached.
- Many Functions that help with ease of use.
- Additional Parts to take into fact the users who go from midi to tower case.
- one of the 200mm Fans can be replaced with 2 120mm fans. They’re not loud, but a resistor will help. both have blue LEDs & the side fan can be replaced with 2 120mm fans.
CONS
- to install CD/DVD roms you have 10 screws to remove & the top and front panels (which have delicate wires attached to them) have to be removed then you can put a drive in.
- If you have the side panel fan plugged in you have to be very careful when removing that panel just in case you tug the fan cable out.
- the fabric for the docking station is low quality held down by 4 thin strips of double sided tape. If you put them in the wrong place the fabric rolls up.
- Case feet can unclip extremely easy if you slide the case along a surface.
Cool case - in more ways than one
Opinion is divided on the Zalman GS1200. Some think it is ugly, whereas others like the design. I fall into the later, but that is not why I bought the case.
The cases fans are practically silent, and are managing to keep my ambient temp in the case nice and low, even when overclocking (which I don’t do normally).
My only complaints about the case is the case fans are only three pin, meaning I can’t take advantage of the 4pin PWM ports on my Asus P8P67. In saying that, the fans are nearly silent, so this isn’t a problem.
Also, the documentation for removing the front panel (to install ODD, SSD, fixed SATA etc) is blatantly wrong. I actually broke the plastic ears at the top of the front panel, in an attempt to get a screws that we actually at the bottom of the case.
Apart from that, a solid 8/10.
If this was any cooler, it would freeze!
WOW, what a fantastic product. This tower just spills perfection all over the place, from when you press the power button for the first time and see it spring into life and light up like a Christmas tree with the architecture of a stealth bomber it just blows you away. Hides all cables safe a tidy behind motherboard, no mess or birds nests. Removable hard drive bays are just amazing, quick, easy, no messing. Finding this tower for a demanding pc is a dream come true. Very Cool, Very Quiet. Having the option to install a fan in the base of the unit is good too (not that you need it). Quick release screws, doors, bays etc have been well thought out and manufactured brilliantly. Your pc will thank you for this tower. Price is fantastic for this type of housing for you computer. Thanks to Quiet PC and their team of engineers there is now a tower that can stand out above the rest and show just how great a pc can be. Would very highly recommend.
