Scythe Zipang 2 Quiet CPU Cooler with 140mm Fan

The Zipang 2 CPU Cooler comes with various improvements over the original Zipang, including a reduction of the overall weight by 100g to 715g and increased performance. The improvement in performance was achieved by adopting and further tuning the Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure (MAPS) which is found on Mugen 2 CPU Cooler. Further optimisation was done by utilising MAPS to use the airflow of the supplied Kaze Maru 140 mm (1000 rpm) fan more efficiently.

Scythe Kaze Maru 140 mm Fan

By applying an original 140mm Scythe Kaze Maru fan, a wider area of components on the motherboard can be cooled compared to a 120 mm fan while reducing noise levels but maintaining the high cooling ability for the cooler.

V.T.M.S. (Versatile Tool-Free Multiplatform System)

Newly developed and patented mounting mechanism “VTMS” allows user to install the Zipang 2 CPU Cooler without any tools or hassle.

M.A.P.S. (Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure)

By introducing the newly developed M.A.P.S. (Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure), the heatsink has been optimised to fully utilise the ability of the included Scythe Kaze Maru 140 mm case fan.

Total 6 Heatpipe

With the cooler featuring a total 6 x 6mm diameter copper heatpipes the cooling performance is exceptional.

Wide Range Cooling

Optional 120 mm Fan

Scythe are kind enough to supply some 120mm fan clips with the Zipang 2. This allows the user to use any fan they like instead of the supplied 140mm Kaze Maru.
