Scythe Susanoo High Performance System/CPU Cooler, SCSO-1000

The Susanoo Scythe CPU cooler consists of a total of twelve 6mm heat pipes and features a two segment heat sink configuration called DBS (Double Block Structure), which provides a massive cooling area for a top-flow CPU cooler. Thanks to the large cooling area, the surrounding components such as MOSFETs, Northbridge, RAM and graphics card can be cooled simultaneously. The Scythe Susanoo CPU Cooler is equipped with FMSB3 (Flip Mount Super Back-Plate 3) to ensure secure mounting on to the motherboard.

D.B.S (Double Block Structure)

By splitting the heatsink fin and heatpipe structure into two layers, a total of 12 heatpipes can be used. The bottom six heatpipes connect to the main larger heatsink fins to absorb most of the heat. The other six upper heatpipes connect to the smaller sub heatsink fins which absorbs the remainder of the heat. This configuration gives the Susanoo the ability to cool any compatible CPU you care to throw at it.

W.A.M.S (Wide Area Multi Fan System)

All components around the CPU socket, including MOSFET, Northbridge, VGA, as well as RAM are all cooled using this super ultra-sized heatsink! The fans are connected to a built-in PCI fan controller that allows the user full control over the speed of the fans and therefore quiet and/or high-performance enthusiasts are all catered for.

F.M.S.B.3 (Flip Mount Super Back-Plate 3)

The improved back-plate named F.M.S.B.3 (Flip Mount Super Back-plate 3), provides maximum compatibility with the widest range of motherboards. Obviously since it is such a large heatsink, it is securely mounted to the motherboard using the supplied bolts!!
