The Scythe KroCraft Desktop Monitor Speakers are supplied in pairs and offer top-quality hi-fi audio reproduction for any PC audiophile. They offer much improved audio quality over conventional PC speaker systems, and are a welcome return to traditional speaker design, combining sleek appearance with high performance. They are truly for anyone who puts quality at the top of their requirement list when it comes to faithful audio reproduction.

The KroCraft 25mm soft dome tweeter provides clear extended high frequencies and the smooth aluminium / pulp composite woofer cone provides great bass response, especially in combination with Scythe’s Flow-Guided Base-reflex Structure (FGBS). Simple binding posts allow for easy cable connection. The KroCraft Desktop Monitor Speakers are the perfect partner to use in combination with any conventional stereo hi-fi amplifier, or for an even neater installation, save on desk space by using Scythe’s new Kama Bay Amp Kro.

As desktop speakers these are too good to be true. As bookshelf speakers they can be compared with competitors in the 200-250 € range. They need more power than usual because of their low sensitivity. Despite this, the Scythe KroCraft speakers are embarrassingly good. Are these the T-Speakers we’ve been searching for?

The overall sound coming from the speakers is very clear; the music can be heard with very good quality. Even if these speakers are only 2 x 10W, they come with plenty of power. In my living room, I did not feel the need to raise the amplification level over 50% - it was more than enough. Overall, I will rate this product 98%!

These speakers are just amazing. I didn’t have high expectations, because I was only buying desktop speakers but I was just blown away with the performance and quality of these speakers.

I’m scoring them 9/10 instead of a perfect 10 because the >50Hz frequency response means you might want to add a separate subwoofer if you are serious about sound but really these speakers deliver everything they promise at great fidelity.

They are a little large for desktop speakers (about 6” across) but the advantage of large drivers will bring a smile to your ears every time you hear them.

It’s worth mentioning these are speakers and you’ll need an amp to drive them and they take proper speaker cables, not RCA or minijacks.

These are the best speakers I’ve heard at this price point, I’m very impressed.
