This incredibly handy gadget is designed to allow you to connect SATA and IDE hard drives quickly and easily to any PC using USB. It is compatible with both 3½” and 2½” SATA and IDE hard drives, as well as any other IDE device such as an optical drive. The ability to quickly plug-and-play any hard drive gives you a quick and easy way to access your files or transfer them from one drive to another without needing to open up your PC.

No driver software is needed - the Connect 2 just plugs in and is ready to go! Also included in the box are two rubber jackets to give extra protection to any hard drives you’ve taken out of your PC so you don’t have to worry about them getting damaged. One jacket fits 2.5” (laptop-sized) hard drives, and the other fits conventional-sized 3.5” drives. [imageline]

Inside the box you’ll find an intriguing device that has input and output for IDE, SATA and USB2 devices. Why? Well, as we’ve found out first hand, moving files on an IDE drive to SATA is a pain, but using the Scythe Kama Connect you can just plug devices together by going through this three-inch device.
