DeepCool V400 Ultra Quiet VGA Cooler with 120mm Fan
Introducing Deepcool’s mid-range performance VGA cooler, the V400.
The V400 is Deepcool’s mid-range VGA cooler which offers a wide range of compatibility with many popular graphics cards from both Nvidia and ATI. The V400 delivers superior cooling performance over the stock cooler thanks to its high quality 120 mm fan and the four nickel-plated heatpipes.
he 120 mm fan operate at around 23 dB(A) regardless of load which is much lower than the fan on a typical stock cooler and it also has a rubber-coated frame, which helps to absorb vibration.

The V400’s 120mm fan is supplied with a standard 3-pin connector so the speed of the fan does not vary and remains constant at around 1200 RPM. In use the fan sounds quieter than the stated 23.2 decibels but if you prefer to have control over the V400’s fan speed, we would recommend that you use a Zalman FANMATE 2 or similar fan controller, which will allow you to set your preferred cooling/noise balance.
If your motherboard doesn’t have any spare 3-pin fan headers from which to power the fan then we would suggest using a PSU adapter such as the Zalman MC1.

Awesome product!
The delivery. Delivery was expected between 5 and 21 days. Surprisingly, it arrived only 6 days after ordering. Absolutely brilliant.
The product state. The cooler was well packaged and secured, but it came with a few bent fins and the base of heatsink was a bit moved, towards fins. Fins were successfully corrected, but base more or less remained in the same position. Of course, maybe the product arrived in that shape at Quietpc.
The performance. Absolutely amazing. Unbelievable. I have XFX 9600GT XXX edition. Ambient temperature was 32°C and Noctua NT-H1 was used as a thermal compound. My stock cooler (50% fan - silent): Idle - 56°C, Load (League of Legends max temp, from now on LOL) - 84°C. My stock cooler (80% fan - loud!!): Idle - 54°C, Load (LOL, max temp) - 72°C. Deepcool v400 (max rpm - silent): Idle - 36°C, Load (LOL, max temp) - 42°C.
WOW! JUST WOW! I’m simply stunned.
The noise. The cooler is very quiet and I consider myself as a noise freak.
The installation. A bit tricky, but once you screw the two diagonal screws, the rest is easy. NOTE: Don’t try to install it with fan on, cause you wont be able to see the holes, you need to hit with screws.
The conclusion. Awesome product and awesome support by Quietpc. I’m looking forward to future business with Quietpc.
