The AMP1000 is a high quality aluminium mouse pad with anodised black and features a chamfered edge to enhance the AMP1000’s simple and elegant design.
Slip-Resistant Rubber Grips
Slip-resistant rubber grips on the bottom prevent the mouse pad from moving during mouse use.
Stain and Pollution Resistant
Zalman’s D.S.A. (Diamond Cutting, Emery Sand Blasting and Anodizing) construction methods makes the AMP1000 resistant to scratches and boasts a long product life. Unlike traditional fabric mouse pads, the surface is resistant to various stains and pollutants.
Rapid and Accurate Mouse Movement
The surface of AMP1000 is made of aluminium which allows a much faster and more accurate mouse movement for all types of mice, including ball, optical, and laser mice. For best performance a mouse that supports 1000 DPI or higher is recommended.

Totally disappointed
Black paint has worn off after 3 months of usage. Mostly in a place where your wrist is inevitably touches the surface of mouse pad.

Stain and pollution resistant. Rubbish! Couple of days and this mouse pad is covered with a layer of dust.
Sorry Zalman, but this is just way overpriced plate of aluminum.
