Xilence Heatpipe RAM Cooler, Single

The Xilence Heatpipe RAM Coolers are very straightforward RAM cooling products. They have been designed to reduce the operating temperature of any PC RAM. The large black heatspreader is attached directly to the RAM chips where the heat is generated. As the heatspreader becomes hot the heat is then transferred to the attached copper heatpipe(s) which absorbs the heat into the outer copper fins, where it is naturally dissipated. A simple but effective approach!

As you can see there are two different types available, dual and single. With both types it is possible to install them in RAM slots that are close to each other, this means you can cool up to four RAM sticks without any compatibility problems.

The main difference between the two types is clear to see. The Dual version accommodates two sets of heatpipes with cooling fins, while the Single version only has one set. From a performance point of view the Dual version will help to reduce the temperature of the RAM more compared to the Single version. Xilence state the Single version will reduce RAM temperature by nearly 25%, while the Dual version will cool your RAM over 36% better than standard stock RAM coolers.
