Streacom F7C EVO Series Home Theatre Aluminium Chassis
The Streacom F7C EVO is an updated model of the F7C which brings a new level of refinement to the classic F7C chassis.
Its high grade aluminium extrusion body now features a fine sandblast finish and the front USB ports have been upgraded to support USB 3.0 (additional USB 3.0 cable required). Internal changes include easier drive assembly, support for an additional 2.5” drive and a universal optical drive eject button for added optical drive compatibility.
With its clean, simple lines, ability to support larger components such as 3.5” hard drive and low profile expansion card, the F7C Evo is perfect for building compact yet powerful systems.

The case can accommodate a slim slot-loading optical drive and both a 2.5 and 3.5” SSD/hard drive. Although it belongs to the mini-series family, the powerful storage space makes it more convenient and useful. With its gorgeous looks and generous specifications, the F7C EVO offers a perfect enclosure for any Mini-ITX based media PC.

Motherboard and CPU - The F7C is only compatible with Mini ITX motherboards. Due to the fact that the chassis is air cooled, there are no limitations regarding the TDP of the chosen CPU. The only issue to consider is the size of the CPU cooler, which may dictate the CPU to use. Due to the size of the chassis, it is only possible to install a CPU cooler no taller than 42mm (without a 3.5” drive fitted or 32mm with one installed). The Gelid Silence iPlus for Intel and the Slim Silence A-Plus for AMD are CPU coolers that will fit the chassis; both available from Quiet PC.

Power Supply - We offer a fanless Pico-PSU that produces 160W of power. This is more than enough to power a CPU that has a TDP of around 90W along with suitable peripherals. It is recommended not to overload the amount of peripherals. A single 3.5” HDD (or SSD), one optical drive, a TV tuner and obviously a motherboard should not be a problem for this miniature PSU.
Optical Drive - The F7C EVO is compatible only with slot-load optical drives that have the eject button on the left hand side. Luckily, Streacom have sourced the perfect drives, whether you require a Blu-Ray or a DVD player.
Remote Control - If you wish to take control of the PC with the use of a remote control, then look no further than Streacom’s solution. It is supplied with a PCB that fits neatly behind a small circular window in the F7C EVO. This means that there are no unsightly boxes or wires running out from ports - there is just the remote!
Thermal Paste - These cases are supplied with thermal paste.
