About the Antec Sonata II
The Sonata II is part of the “Lifestyle” range of enclosures from Antec. Two years ago they introduced the hugely successful Sonata PC case, with it’s revolutionary design combining style, performance, and quietness. Sonata II combines the classic style and silent performance of the original Sonata with an upgraded SmartPower2.0 450 power supply and innovative new cooling design for handling the latest, fastest technologies.

Like the original Antec Sonata this quiet PC case is quality built with a sleek piano black finish. The new Antec Sonata II also has an advanced chassis air duct system which draws air from the rear of the case and over the CPU and GPU areas on the motherboard. This chamber can also house a 92mm and 80mm fan (optional) to aid CPU and VGA cooling. The result is greater and quieter cooling capacity as the air extracted is expelled without a fan attached to the outside of the case. A further addition is that the holes in the case side panels in the Antec Sonata I have gone, thus reducing the potential for sound leakage. This Antec PC case comes supplied with a Tri-cool 120mm quiet case fan that has three speed settings.

Everything about the Sonata II is geared toward a low noise and high performance.
The Sonata II offers near silent operation in a package so attractive you’ll want to show it off every chance you get. It’s a good thing the Sonata II can be locked up. Otherwise your friends might take too much of a shining to it.
